Holly A. Fisher founded the company in November 2011, providing writing, PR and marketing services. As the demand for PR and social media marketing has grown, Fisher decided to grow the team.

Amanda Bunting Comen and Melissa Nelson have been hired as account managers, working with the firm’s growing number of local clients.

Bunting Comen has a long history as a nonprofit professional, focusing heavily on social media and website development. A College of Charleston graduate, she is a 2006 graduate of the Charleston Metro Chamber of Commerce’s Leadership Charleston program and a winner of the Charleston Regional Business Journal’s Forty Under 40 Award in 2008. She has served on numerous committees and boards in the community over the years. Currently she is the immediate past chair of the Women and Gender Studies Community Advisory Board at the College of Charleston and the membership manager on the Ellevate Charleston board.

With more than 18 years working in the communications field, Nelson has experience in the government, public, and nonprofit sectors. She previously was director of marketing communications at Historic Charleston Foundation. Prior to joining the Historic Charleston Foundation team in January 2011, Nelson was the media production and outreach manager at Blackbaud where she managed everything from video production and editing, to advertising, public relations and writing.

Fisher Creative works with the Charleston Parks Conservancy, Lowcountry AIDS Services, The Footlight Players, Moranz Entertainment, Fruit That Lasts, Traveler of Charleston, Charleston Orthodontic Specialists, the NEEDTOBREATHE Classic, Franklin & Associates, The ARK, Chase After a Cure and many more.

“More and more businesses and nonprofits came to me in need of professional PR and marketing services, so it just made sense to expand the company,” Fisher said. “I’m delighted to have two talented and creative women joining my business and helping me tell the stories of Charleston area organizations.”
